Siloam (Photo) & Bethesda
Two Pools known from the Gospels have been confirmed by archaeology. Pool of Bethesda indeed have 5 porticoes. Pool of Siloam with visiable outlet of Hezekiah's Tunel (Photo).

Pool of Bethesda was archaeologicly discovered in 19th century. It realy has five porticoes. The Pool is located near the Lion's Gate, formerly known as the Sheep Gate.

→ The Wildening of Hezekiah's Tunnel Was Considered as Pool of Siloam for Centuries.

The Hezekiah's Tunnel was created to bring water from the Gihon Spring to the Pool of Siloam. The final outlet of the tunnel visible on the top picture.

→ Pool of Siloam Discovered in 2004 by Municipal Workers

This pool has 200 m in paramiter. The tones of soil had to be removed from this rock chamber.

→ The Monumental Pielgrimage Road Was Idenified

The Pielgrimage Road according to archaeologiacal work was 600 meters long, 8 meters wide. 10,000 tones of stone slabs were used for buiding in time of Herod the Great. The Pielgrimage Road was connecting Pool of Siloam with the Temple.
